An employee at a jewellery shop is maligned for murdering his boss and goes on the lam. His daughter and a boy he took care of grew up to be lovers. The daughter eventually discovers who the real murderer was and seeks to vindicate his father, who had been a wrongfully accused fugitive all through her growing up years.
